Luis Francisco Heredia Montes

Education
He studied law at the Ibero-American University. He holds a master's degree in Accusatory Criminal Procedure and Oral Trials by the Institute of Higher Studies in Criminal Law. To date, he has completed his doctorate studies in Constitutional Law and Criminal Law in the same institution.

Likewise, he has studied the courses of Tax and Financial Crimes, Oral Trials Theory and Practice, Training for Operators in the Accusatory Criminal System at the National Institute of Criminal Sciences. He was granted a certificate by the California Western School of Law, in San Diego, California, for having accredited the Advanced Cross-Examination Techniques course. He also participated in the Criminal Liability of Companies, as well as Criminal Law and Compliance courses. He has knowledge of the English language.

Experience
For more than 20 years he has been involved in criminal and constitutional litigation. He began his practice in the Camarillo Garza-Piñón Reyes firm (1998-2003). He continued with his social service in the National Congress, serving as political liaison to Deputy Miguel Ángel Torrijos, advising citizens on criminal matters and elaborating initiatives of reform to the penal legislation. He was an active member of the Board of Directors of the Commission of Young Entrepreneurs of COPARMEX. Before founding Heredia Sanchez, he was partner for 14 years of the firm Mendoza Morales.

Teaching
Since 2007, he has been a professor of the subjects Crimes in Particular and Oral Trials at the Ibero-American University of Mexico City.
